Introduction:

As we are studying about maps we will be able to find out the different areas where animals live. 

​

Task:

The students will be learning about the continents

and will research where their chosen animal is from.

They will be watching a video

and creating a multimedia poster.

Process:

  1. As a class we will be reading the chapter about maps, the students will be taking any notes to use as a reference.

  2. Teacher will be presenting her lesson on a multimedia poster in which students will learn the seven continents.

  3. After, the lesson the teacher will present a Youtube video about the Seven Continents of The World. 

  4. We will have a short discussion about the lesson and video. The teacher will answer any questions they may have. 

  5. The students will need to research to see in what continent their animal they had chosen from our Science lesson is from.

  6. The students will be creating a multimedia poster about the habitat of the animal the students chose.

  7. It will be submitted to the teacher to be graded in their creativity in producing their poster.

Evaluation:

  • Understand what a continent is                                

  • Understand what a state is 

  • Be able to locate the location of their animal they choose

  • Creativity of their multimedia poster

​

Conclusion:

Students will be able to identify the continents and states in a map and they will be able to locate where their animal that was chosen from the Science lesson. They will be able to create and manipulate a multimedia poster
